A restrained transition gives one area warmth or depth while the content remains easy to read.

Blend two neighbouring colours across one opening or callout section, with the lightest area positioned behind the main text. Keep the change gradual over the whole section and use a solid colour behind any small text or form control. Do not use high-saturation colour pairings that make the words vibrate.
Use this background pattern when it changes the result the agent should produce. It provides one concrete direction without deciding unrelated parts of the website.
