Prompt pattern

Technical but understandable

Useful precision is paired with short explanations so a non-specialist can keep up.

Fills the tone part of a prompt.

Write the plain-language result first, then introduce one technical term and define it the first time it appears. Keep each sentence to one concept, use a short example after an unfamiliar idea, and expand every acronym on first use. Do not remove useful detail or assume the reader already knows the team's internal vocabulary.

Use this tone pattern when it changes the result the agent should produce. It provides one concrete direction without deciding unrelated parts of the website.
