Hero section
The opening section that introduces a page and its main action.
Also called: the big bit at the top, opening banner, first section, main introduction, top banner
The first large area of a page. It tells people where they are, what the site offers, and what to do next.
Using it in a prompt
At the top of the page, use a large opening section that names the bakery, explains the offer in one sentence, and links to order a cake.
A strong opening section answers three questions quickly: what is this, who is it for, and what should I do next. It can be simple, but it should not make the visitor search for the point of the page.
